The TODAY Show--

As professional photographers, we are privileged to capture the joys and milestones of the families that pass through our studios. It’s gratifying to know that our talents help to preserve the history of these families. But unfortunately every moment worth capturing is not always joyous, and each milestone in a family may not be a reason for happiness.

Since founding Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, I have had the opportunity to participate in a celebration of life. The babies NILMDTS photographers immortalize are proof that life, no matter how fleeting, is valuable. These children, despite their short time on earth, were cherished. The images we create are proof that a child was born, loved and mattered.

The task of capturing these precious images is not for the faint of heart. I commend each professional who selflessly gives of their time and talents to offer comfort to families who are experiencing the unimaginable. Thank you for elevating our art and offering it as a gift to help heal grieving hearts.

Thank you to the TODAY Show for sharing our message.

The studio is a magnet for creative women. Long-time employee Megan DiMaria is also realizing a lifelong dream to be a published novelist. Her book, Searching for Spice, will release from Tyndale House Publishers on April 1st, and will be available wherever books are sold.

In Searching for Spice, a romance-deprived photographer’s assistant longs to experience a sizzling affair—with her husband, a practical, no-nonsense teacher. Unfortunately, life isn’t scripted, and nothing goes according to plan. Searching for Spice is also available online for pre-order.
