Reveling in the perfect California sun, the pirates jumped off the ship to begin load-in. Shiver-me-timbers, the room was cold! We decided to soak in a bit more sun before the show began. Then next door, we found the hotdog-on-a-stick stand, where we stuffed ourselves with hotdogs, cheese and sugary lemonade. *Disclaimer: Sam ate salad and steamed veggies.
Although the room still felt like an icebox, Sandy used the opportunity to drink more tea. The night's models were a pair of sisters, Jean and Julia. They played dress up with lovely dresses and were ever so cute. Our other model, Ashton, was a great listener and glowed with excitement to play with Sandy!
The buccaneers managed to recruit many volunteer road pirates that night to help take everything down. However, one pirate realized that maybe some of her belongings were smuggled, and we tried to solve the “Mystery of the Missing iPhone.” Unsuccessful, we then sailed off northward to the next destination, San Jose!
