Fear Before the March of Flame formed in the Denver surface in 2002. Over time, vocalist David Marion, guitarist/melodist Adam Fisher, bassist Michael Madruga, and drummer Brandon Proff developed a cross-bred of screamo, metal, and terse hurry-hardcore dynamics. Portland-area indie Rise Records took detect and issued the band's replete-length debut, Odd How People Shake, in July 2003. Tours through types like the Blood Brothers and Hopesfall followed, and in a short time Equal Vision had snapped up Fear Before in solicitation of its own...
